Over Forty Females... Connect, Encourage and Inspire

Last night I had the privilege to be the "event photographer" for an event that is near and dear to my heart... "Over Forty Females" and while there were more than forty females there... yes, with a few notable exceptions... we were all over the age of forty. The Event was held at Johnny Ray's a restaurant that brings the glitz of Las Vegas and a hip NYC vibe to 1015 Bridgeport Avenue in Milford CT. The event was hosted by Judy Goss and was designed to inspire, encourage and connect women from all over Connecticut and across the country. Judy is on a mission to empower us "women of age" by connecting and combining our many talents and hosts these events all around the country. Hello World!

Okay... maybe tht's a little too broad but I thought I would start out big... I am attempting to be a better communicator and business person in this day and age of mass communication. Frankly my brain, that was college educated in the early eighties... is a little overwhelmed but I am flinging myself into the fire... well something like that... and since my writing style tends to be a little rambling I am just going to have to cut myself off from time to time. So, please excuse any abrupt halts... it means I think I've gone on for just about long enough.

So... just to mention... I am a photographer. I have a portrait business that is thriving and makes me happy. Also, I am making the people I photograph happy. My partner and husband, Brent, and I are launching into photographing and videoing weddings. Why? you might ask... because we are crazy... No, just kidding. Because it makes sense and frankly we haven't been invited to enough weddings lately and I miss going to them.

More importantly, we are two people with an enormous amount of talent... (I didn't say which one of us had the enormous talent...) and experience in and around almost every possible camera lens, angle, event. behind, in front of... in the darkroom, on the computer... and we love to have fun with our equipment... meet people... and as I said I like to go to weddings.
